The nozzle is the last part of the injection system of a diesel engine, are also called nozzles and consist of a fitting provided with a very thin tube in the center which receives fuel under pressure through a tube from the pump injection, pulverized and homogenized in the suction line and sends it to the combustion chamber or in some diesel engines to an anteroom to produce combustion.
A fuel injector works with the pressure inside them or drive mechanical fuel from the engine camshaft.
CAV and Bosch injectors work under pressure while the unit injectors and PT are power operated.
